How to use

DOES NOT WORK in MediaWiki 1.9.2

Works in MediaWiki 1.16.0

But consider using [[file:imagefile.jpg|link=some page name]] instead

Type this

{{clickpic|Page name to go to|full URL of image to display}}

To got this image that links to whatever page you define http://wikigogy.org/images/e/e8/Wg-favicon-apple.png

Full URL of image to display can be found by clicking your way to the image itself using the link just under the image itself on the Wikigogy page about the image. (Or right-click on that link and select Copy Link Address to copy the full URL of the image to your clip board so that you can paste it into the wiki markup using Ctrl+V.)

Examples

Wg-favicon-apple.png <-- plain image links to the image's Wikigogy page

[[Image:Wg-favicon-apple.png]]

http://wikigogy.org/images/e/e8/Wg-favicon-apple.png <-- {{clickpic}} image links to a different Wikigogy page (I've linked this one to the login page)

{{clickpic|Special:Userlogin|http://wikigogy.org/images/e/e8/Wg-favicon-apple.png}}

. . . . Wg-favicon-apple.png

I don't know why it doesn't work. --Roger 16:26, 22 November 2010 (CST)
