Introduction
This seeding project aims to help LAUSD-DACE teachers of ESL Beginning Low classes meet their curricular requirements.
It presents a tool for finding, creating and sharing lessons that fulfill the mandates of the ESL Beginning Low Course Outline.
Project contents
The project begins by listing the three inter-related competency areas -- Life Skills, Language Structures and Language Proficiencies -- presented by the course outline.
Each competency area links to an itemized table describing the individual competencies within that area, and each individual competency further links to one or more detailed IPAT lessons that teach the respective skill(s).
(Because lessons almost always teach more than one competency at a time, the footer for each lesson page lists additional competencies taught in the lesson.)
