Point-and-click food
From Wikigogy
Point-and-click is a term borrowed from the computing field. An easy to use system that require little or no typing and mouse use only is deemed a 'point-and-click' system. As in the phrase "Oh, that's easy. It's just point-and-click."
Point-and-click food was coined while B (and her partner) were staying in China. The point-and-click food model is very much used by English speakers staying in a non-English country. The basic principle is a picture menu or display cabinet of the food on offer. The English speaker points, and holds up the number of fingers for the quantity desired.
