DANNY'S DINER -- DAY

It's 6:00AM and Manny has a terrible headache.

DANNY: (With a big smile.) Good morning. May I take your order?

MANNY: (Rubbing his eyes) I don’t know. Is the coffee good here?

DANNY: Yes it is. I always drink a cup before work.

MANNY: I’d like a cup of coffee then.

DANNY: Would you like cream and sugar?

MANNY: Well, I usually take my coffee black, but today I’d like it with cream.

DANNY: Sugar?

MANNY: No, thank you. I never take my coffee with sugar.

DANNY: Anything to eat?

MANNY: I don’t know. What do you like here?

DANNY: Well, I don’t usually eat breakfast, but sometimes I have eggs with toast.

MANNY: That sounds good. I’d like scrambled eggs, please, with wheat toast.

DANNY: Coming right up.
